First of all I would like to thank you for teaching meipaadam in these modern days. As ancient cultures and traditional healthy body exercises are diminishing these days your meipaadam classes are the main resort to a healthy future generation.

When I joined the course 3 months ago I wanted to reduce my weight and should make myself look better as I was before 5 years ago .I thought meipaadam will work only on physical body.But as I started doing meipaadam regularly I feel better physically,Mentally and emotionally.
For example as a surgeon before I used to work for 6 hours only in the clinic after that I would start feeling tired .
But after doing meipaadam I am able to work for even 8 hours without any tiredness and my sleep quality has been improved as my mind has become more stable than ever before.

I had slight restriction in my right hand movement than left hand but meipaadam has increased my whole body flexibility and stamina so that I am able to play badminton efficiently how I was playing 5 years ago.

My wife told that me that my short temper nature has gone these days and I look more calm and peaceful than ever before.she also suggested me to make my elder daughter to get admitted to meipaadam class during
May month.
Sir I really enjoy the benefits of meipaadam and the true evidence of that is I have not taken even a single holiday till today from the day I joined the class 3 months ago.
As a doctor I know better that instead of doing gym exercises meipaadam will keep me young,healthy and stronger till my last breath.

Sir I am deeply interested to move on to the next stage of practising Karlakattai so that I can be joyfully healthy physically,mentally and emotionally .

I joined the Mei Paadam class for two main reasons. One was because I wanted to improve overall health and to strengthen the body for my spiritual practice. Secondly, I wanted to learn our ancestral training and martial art so that I can pass it on to others and have this form of art continue from generation to generation.

When I started Mei Paadam, I was overall in good fitness shape as I was regularly doing calesthenics. However, I did not have alot of flexibility due to previous injurious due to weight lifting and gym. Mei paadam had significantly improved my movements and allowed me to rotate my body 360 degrees. Also, I had pinch like pain in my left shoulder when I started which is now gone. I am able to move my shoulders in positions that I was not able to before. I feel that these movements are working the body at subtle levels; physical, nervous, skeletol, energy and mind.

The best part is, I have developed even more confidence in myself after practicing Mei paadam.

Overall, I feel that the Mei Paadam has enhanced my Yoga practice and fitness. Balaji is a great coach, continuously teaching me various movements in each class. He is also understanding and gives me feedback in each class for me to improve.

I am very excited and looking forward to practicing Karlakattai which I am sure will further strengthen and contribute to a better health.

Tharai Paadam classes with the primary goal of enhancing my overall health and incorporating a unique form of exercise into my routine. Additionally, I am drawn to the idea of learning and preserving our ancestral floor exercise techniques, intending to pass down this invaluable knowledge to future generations.

As I commenced my journey into Tharai Paadam, I found myself in reasonably good physical shape due to regular engagement in calisthenics. However, I recognized the need for improvement in specific areas, particularly regarding floor exercises. Tharai Paadam has proven to be transformative, significantly refining my movements and agility on the floor.

Tharai Paadam has not only benefited me physically but also mentally and emotionally. The focus required during floor exercises has allowed me to cultivate a deeper connection between my body and mind. I find that the intricate movements engage not only my muscles but also stimulate my nervous system, creating a holistic experience that transcends mere physical fitness.

 

Karlakattai

Karlakattai with a twofold purpose in mind. Firstly, I sought to elevate my overall physical well-being and add a unique dimension to my fitness routine. Secondly, my intention was to delve into our ancestral training methods, particularly in the realm of Karlakattai, with the aspiration of passing on this ancient knowledge to the coming generations.

Upon commencing Karlakattai, I found myself in a state of reasonable fitness, having engaged in calisthenics and other forms of physical activity. However, I recognized a gap in my training, specifically in the realm of Karlakattai, which is renowned for its effectiveness in building strength, agility, and mental focus.

Meditation

Meditation has become a cornerstone of my daily routine, offering a sanctuary for self-discovery, inner peace, and personal growth.

Incorporating meditation into my life was initially motivated by a desire to manage stress and cultivate a sense of calm amidst life’s demands. As I delved deeper into the practice, I discovered its multifaceted benefits that extend beyond stress reduction. Meditation has become a powerful tool for enhancing mental clarity, focus, and emotional resilience.

The journey into meditation has provided me with a heightened awareness of the present moment.
